Sam Squared

I got hooked by the blurb for this book which sounded right up my reading alley. Though, at times, the conflict felt a bit forced to me and I couldn't quite follow the Sams' logic and reasoning. (Then again: teenagers... shrugs)
Still, the story had its moments, and I enjoyed it. “Operation Mystery Lips” was absolutely ridiculous and entertaining to watch (YMMV).

I'll have to admit though that while the Sams were likeable enough, I wasn't as invested in their romance as I wanted to be. In my book (ha!), cousin Mason stole the show and totally deserves his own story.
