I didn't like it as well as the previous one—it took me several chapters to really “connect” with Angela and Dan, but the crime was very interesting, and by the end of the book, I'd connected quite well enough to be rooting for the characters and be ready to round it up to four stars.
I liked the strong references to God and what faith could do to heal a person. It was also fun to see some of Donna and Marco from book one.
