Millicent "Missy" Armstrong is entering her third London Season, but not for lack of suitors. Since her debut three years ago, Missy has received twenty marriage proposals. But she is interested in only one man—her brother's best friend, James Rutherford. As a child, Missy looked up to James. As a grown up, her admiration has blossomed into the longings of a beautiful, sensuous woman—and she won't rest until James admits his love—and desire—for her...James Rutherford rues the day he let his physical weaknesses get the better of him by kissing Missy. His best friend has made it clear that Missy is off limits, and though he's avoided her for three years, he hasn't forgotten the feel of her soft lips pressed against his—and it seems neither has she. For no matter how much James tries to discourage Missy, he keeps winding up in her arms, sharing heated caresses that promise the most delirious pleasure..."A delightful debut! The more I got into this audiobook the more I liked the writing and the story being told. Lara's parents get sick and pass within a few days of one another while living in India. Wolf's uncle becomes Lara's guardian and takes her to England with him. Wolf, the Duke, decides it's time for his sister Anne and Lara to get married and be on their way. He gives them six months to find someone themselves or face the alternative, he will find someone for them to marry. This ticks Lara off because she knows all the racist thoughts the ton have of her (and verbally express to her throughout the book) and she wants to marry for love.
Half Indian Heroine and is visibly representative Hate to Love

Beautiful coverPassion and connection
** Great pacing
Heroine DOES NOT want to marry someone from the ton but outside of the ton (ordinary man) for love. Didn't have to wait and eternity for the hero to become aware of his feelings.
Didn't have to wait another eternity for the hero to want to make the relationship official. Consent
I really liked this one and will be diving into the next book which features Wolf's best friend Hawk.
