Sir Jaffray's Wife

This story was written like an Anthony Hope tale. It is of English society, yet with intrigue and mystery thrown in. It falls solidly under the umbrella of a historical romance. However, the ending is unexpected. Nothing about this story follows any sort of cookie cutter pattern, and it is an interesting read.
