First things first: I love Rotheberg and especially the group of friends we have gotten to know quite well in the previous stories. Stolen Heartstrings, while not my favorite of the stories I've read so far, meshes well with the rest of the series.
Speaking of favorites: Matt is a hero I can easily root for - not only because he's closer to me in age than most romance heroes. :D I appreciate that on one hand he is very secure in himself (without being arrogant), but on the other he's just that boy who has this huge crush on this girl and... OMGOMGOMG! And I absolutely adored his relationship with his daughter Eva.
Nica, on the other hand... To be honest, it took me a while to warm up to her. I felt she brought a lot of unnecessary drama to the table. But there were plenty of funny and sweet and swoony moments (mustn't forget that swoon!) that made up for that.
As always, I enjoyed seeing this group of friends having each other's backs, including the usual well-meaning meddling as well as giving some tough love when necessary.
Very much looking forward to more Rotheberg shenanigans!
