Synkän metsän siimeksessä

I saw this book in a publisher catalogue and knew I had to reserve it from the library, as these psychological thrillers are a genre both me and my wife really like, and this looked like another interesting novel in the genre.

And yeah, we sure weren't disappointed. While the book isn't necessarily the most innovative example of the genre, it's quite well written and the characters somehow feel more believeable than usually – often the thriller characters behave in ways that break the suspension of disbelief, but not this time.

Unreliable narrator, mysterious events unfolding, passionate murder... what a delight.
