It amazes me how good this was. I mean you can still see, that it is written to be likable for younger teens and kids, but it's still very well written with interesting character development, believable motivations and understandable logical behavior from all of the characters. The art is solid.
It's a bit of a difficult jumping on space for a new flash reader, but once I got the ropes and let go of understanding the speed force (it's just magic with no set rules, don't lie) I really enjoyed this! I was especially into the villain Godspeed. All and all a solid volume
I don't think I'm the target audience for this book. It felt far too predictable and even infantile, but I'm probably being overly harsh. I think Nyone liking a light superhero story will like it.
