The Good and the Beautiful Beginner Books Box A

My Rascal (5) son finished reading these today. He has also finished Unit 1 from his The Good & the Beautiful Language Arts & Literature Level K. We plan to read and reread these a few times before moving on. While for years, I have loved and still enjoy Bob Books for our beginner books I decided to try these after he has enjoyed the overall language arts books so far. He has zoomed through Pre-K and Primer K with the Primer K beginner books reader and this was the obvious next step. He is eager and enthusiastic. There is a mix of words for sight words and phonetic gems and beautiful illustrations of varied art media. We have read these books in mixed order. Some do seem a bit easier than others, but overall they are the perfect level for his skill. Now, I'm off to open up Beginner Books Box B for him to start as he continues into Unit 2. We very well may have a new reader established this year.
