This book should be an example about why a cat should be kept inside. To keep them safe from violence from people, fights with animals, and keeping natural wildlife safe as well.
Slowly the cat loses its nine lives, most which could be avoided, and the family wondering if the cat will return.
The art is great and does have native characters (and author) so it does get points for me. I think perspective of land (history, freedom) motivates this story, so it leads at the end being an just ok story for me.
