The Haunted Lake

Only the clock tower remains of the flooded village of Spetzia. Jacob and his father are forced to become fisherman after their fields are flooded. One day Jacob meets Ellen at the market, and the two fall in love. They plan to marry, but Jacob is out fishing late one night and the ghosts of the dead villagers pull him down into the waters of the village. It is only with the greatest effort that Jacob is able to throw his watch to Ellen one night when she comes looking for him out on the waters, and the two are reunited.
