The Little Paris Bookshop

This book ended up being far more melancholy than I had anticipated. To be honest, at points, it just wallowed in its own sadness. There were moments of lightness and pure French whimsy but this book was overwhelmed by its own sadness.

The title and description are a bit misleading. The book goes in a considerably different direction than described. But if you're feeling the urge to wallow, then this might be just what you want.
