The Marquess' Christmas Match

There was nothing Christmasy about it. I'm quite disappointed. With the title like that I was expecting more focus on Christmastime... From which we got exactly one chapter that took place during the ball where FMC talked to her family about securing their future, nothing else.

I hate when there are letters or diary entries written in a font that looks like handwriting, because it's always so difficult to read. And there were a lot of them here.

I didn't like jumping through povs within chapters and the fact that they only met at 30% for the first time?? Come on.

I didn't feel any chemistry between the characters and I wish the book would focus more on romance between Georgiana and Edward, as well as Georgiana's job as a governess. But we didn't even see one lesson at all which was disappointing to say the least. The book focused more on Georgiana trying to stop the Viscount from pursuing her tbh.

I didn't like it very much and the writing didn't help matters. The book dragged on and on tbh, despite being less than 200 pages long.
