The Princess Bride

Short Review: I read this sometime in high school a little over 20 years ago. I love the movie and have had fond memories of the book. But I just haven't read it again. It stands up pretty well. I think it is a little long. And the humor, while great, is distributed unevenly. So there is a lot of humor in the beginning and later when the story starts to drag a bit, it is at least in part because the humor drops off.

But I still love the book and think it makes a great complement to the movie.
