The Sound of Silver

This sequel to “Sound of Diamonds” follows immediately from where the first ends. It's frustrating in parts because of the incredible obstacles that Dirk and Gwyn have to overcome, and several times it looks almost impossible for there to ever be a good ending. It's neat to have both characters having scenes in first person, so you can feel the two perspectives up-front and see the emotions each goes through. I have to say, I loved meeting Dirk's mother, Rohesia! Quite the strong lady.
