Interesting page of history. I knew Doyle was into fairies and spiritualism, I knew Houdini went around disproving mediums and left a message with his wife for after his death to see if he really could be communicated with. I didn't know that Scientific American held a contest to find a “true” medium. Everything surrounding this is interesting and crazy.
Exhaustive detail on the Houdini-Margery episode. I was constantly stumbling over awkward sentences. It would have been better if it came to some kind of conclusion.
