Cassie is definitely using up her nine lives in this series. Holy sugar, this girl gets into every battle there is. Landis introduces some interesting new characters in this battle and gives us some cheat sheets at the back of the book to keep track of them all (thank goodness). We get to see our new favorite necromancer again, only to have him disappear in Hell - now that can't be good.

Unfortunately for Cassie, Landis makes her suffer for her decisions this time. The ending is heartbreaking on multiple levels. So get ready for some prices to be paid.

This is the fourth book in the “Mystic Hallows Harem” series and Landis has not let up on the action, mystery, magic, or romance. I cannot wait for more!
