Twin Beds

A comedy of errors sort of tale, sparked by the woman's mother coming for a visit and not quite approving of her husband, and blaming the husband for all the daughter's follies. The daughter tries very hard to show her mother how good a man her husband is, but stumbles into worse and worse blunders and laughable mistakes.

Fun fact: I randomly googled the address that the previous owner of the book left inscribed inside and the house just happened to be freshly remodeled and on the market, so I got to look at pictures of where my copy spent its early life. Yes, I enjoy that sort of thing!
