Kelsea is so talented and I hope she keeps writing horrifying tales about motherhood forever, frankly. This was a super quick short story written for Mother's Day 2023, and it follows a pregnant, single young woman who finds a free stroller on the side of the road and takes it home, despite having been warned by her mother that bringing home baby furniture before the third trimester was bad luck. It's a bleak, harrowing read, so if you're sensitive to triggers related to pregnancy and motherhood, check the content warnings below first, but I absolutely loved how dark and odd this was.
