Tomomi Shimizu is a Japanese manga artist. She has authored a series of books exposing the cultural oppression and genocide the Chinese authorities are imposing on the Uyghur people in East Turkestan.
This is a short Manga / cartoon depicting the experiences of an Uyghur man and his family at the hands of the Chinese authorities. It is an incredibly brave move to expose the actions of the Chinese and their genocide, and for a 5 minute read it provides a simple baseline of the experiences these people are suffering under.
