This was absolutely wonderful in every way. I adored prickly, jaded Naomi (and the unreliability forced upon her narrative by her own lost memories), the thriller elements, the lengthy list of moving pieces, and most of all, the commentary on how society treats true crime victims — especially women — by forgetting that they were/are actual people and not simply fodder to be consumed for our own purposes.
I have a lot of feelings about this gorgeous, harrowing story and will have a full review up soon!
