It's always an excellent sign when you devour an almost 400-page book in less than 24 hours! There was so much to love, especially the characters, who were all interesting and well-developed. I particularly loved that all the sisters had distinct personalities and that the eldest was the head of the household, very protective of them all without being overbearing.
I adored the main couple! While the coffin scene made me quite uncomfortable, I immensely enjoyed the romance and the development of Mateo and Evie's relationship.
The concept of having an inner wolf was fascinating, and I laughed out loud multiple times at the banter between Alpha and Mateo. All the supernatural species felt fresh, even though vampires and werewolves have been done a million times before. Furthermore, the concept of mates in the book was handled in a way that preserved the free will of the parties involved, so I didn't find it problematic at all.
