As much as I loved the first book, I did NOT like this one.  The writing was chaotic at best.  The FMC was insufferable & the storyline was disappointing.  I wanted to love this one (because of the first one) but I literally had to force myself to finish this one.  This book could not be more different from its predecessor.

To begin, I had this book on my TBR for a long time. I wanted to love this story.  It explores people not being necessarily good or bad.  The characters exhibited both types of behaviors/characteristics. But, the story fell flat for me.  I can't put my finger on why but I fought continually feeling there would be something more.  There were funny parts, and I like said, I really liked the exploration of people being “gray” rather than exclusively black or white but I feel let down.

I very rarely give books like this a 5 star review.  However, one can tell it was well thought out and well written.  The instructions are VERY clear and easy to follow.  The pictures and the artwork are beautiful.  The stories and the background of each drink type were an interesting read & kept my attention.

This was such an intense read.  It is definitely pertinent to current times. The story gave me the same vibe I got from Wake Up & Open Your Eyes. Tough read.  Highlights the need for people to try to understand different cultures rather than rushing to judgement simply because people are different.

I know this is based on a podcast (that I haven't listened to yet) but this was fantastic! As dark as the topic is, the authors found humor, snark, and good information to make “the end” more palatable.

What a wild ride!!  I loved it!

I don't typically read straight romance.  I LOVED this story!!!  It was real - like I could picture it happening to someone I know.

Not sure I am going to continue with the series. I am starting to hate the female main character - and not in a good way.  She is becoming tiresome & repetitive.

I won this audio copy on TSG - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I loved this story.  I absolutely adored the multi-voice narration & the emotion that came through the various players.

This book was just okay for me.  I read it because I had purchased the hardcover edition for my husband. I am questioning if I should have bought this for my hubs.  It felt like this was something I have read 1000 times before.

The beginning of this story was incredibly slow but well detailed. The ending was extremely underwhelming when you consider all the time the author spent building up the characters, their arcs, and the twists and turns. It was too neat & tidy of an ending.

What a wild ride! This book was NOTHING like what I was expecting it to be.

OMG! This author had me captivated from start to finish!  AG Hawkins, you are a fabulous storyteller.

I LOVED this story!!!!  I am looking froward to the next one in the series.

I avoided this book for so long.  I'm not sure why.  I really enjoyed the story.  The way the FMC overanalyzed her thoughts & actions as well as her reflections of her memories really made me feel seen.

The twist at the end - WOW! JUST WOW! Should have seen it coming but it threw me for a loop.

This book was so funny! What a delight to read!

This book was fun to read.  It challenged me & gave me moments to pause and think about things I want to change about myself as well as offering me ways to let myself lighten up without stressing out.

I found this book very timely. I had to stop myself from highlighting passages after the first couple chapters because I felt like I was going to highlight the entire book.  It is a well researched eye-opener that needs to be read by everyone.

SO accurate for 2025. Intense from start to finish. Not my usual read but WOW! what a ride!

I won an audio copy through a giveaway from The StoryGraph - thank you!! This book kept me entertained from start to finish.

I absolutely loved this book!!!

This was SUCH a great listen! Amy Poehler is so easy to listen to. She is the kind of person I could invite over for a glass of wine & a chat.

Such an easy listen. Loved it!

I thought the information in this book was helpful, the stories were helpful. However, it is impractical to think that a couple will go through 250 questions and have quality conversation about each one. I can see a new couple using some of these questions to get to know each other.
