Great audio book if you're a runner or thinking about being one. If you aren't either of these things, it's still a good story.

A few great one liners but not the belly laughs I'd been led to believe by the other contributors.

Finally, a comedian who's hilarious both live and in print. Great book that taught me more about improv.

I listened to a whole book on Puritans and Puritanism so it must be half-decent.

SNARK ALERT...I think the publisher needed to hire someone besides Ms. Vowell to read her book. Let's just leave it at that...

Self serving, juvenile drivel with a few sparse indications of writing ability thrown in.

The main message appears to be anybody can do anything if they are as motivated as Mr. Shepard is.

However the secondary message comes across to me as, I'm on a great adventure, pretending to be homeless, sucking up services that others could legitimately use aren't I grand!

Skip this book.

Good read for the most part. I listened to this book and there were times at the beginning of the book where I'm not sure the narration was quite right but as the book progressed the narrator got the author's “voice” and the telling got better. There were also places where the book got a bit tedious but overall I still think Dan Simmons is an excellent story teller.

So logically flawed that there's nothing to really review. Don't bother.

I can count on one hand how many times I've re-read a book: this is one of them. It's completely applicable if you want to be a success.

Elegant in it's simplicity but there seemed to be a lot that was pure filler. I am grateful for the book however.

Gives me a whole new set of tools to apply to how I eat. Challenged my belief that local is always better. Provocative. Also some great tips on how to find the best food no matter where you are.

Liked it quite a bit. Some really good exercises in here and Ms. Fitzgerald's School of the Seasons has always been inspiring.

Great book for primary resource. I will use some of her work (with attribution) in my own work.

Nerdy goodness!

So who do hate the most. In this twisty, sinuous, grippy novel you'll get your chance to hate every character in varying degrees. However under Ms. Flynn's deft handling it's a book you'll love to read.

4 out of 5 hat rating!

Nothing new.

Mr. Carey turns a phrase like a finely balanced dagger. Pure fun.

This book is perfect. Every story is perfect. Not a single mis-step from start to finish. Poignantly sad and hilarious. Loved it.

This was a really well written book which I didn't like or maybe I did. I think I tend to agree with much of what Cathy writes here. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/307802529

But in the same breath it was well written and as another reviewer wrote we all deal with grief in our own way.

What do you think?

This book has some excellent points about success. It is rather dated and there are some things that have been proven incorrect scientifically. You do have to remember this book was written around 1900. There are also some incredibly racist and sexist overtones. So be prepared to take out the ignorance of the times and use those things that propel you forward.

This second story in “The Others” series is fantastic. Great world building and the relationships are on target even if we don't know what that target is supposed to be.

I liked it. Gives you avenues to explore for your own personal enrichment but is not meant to be exhaustive by any means.

Nicely told tale that kept me guessing until the end.

I'm so sorry I didn't read this earlier! It goes directly into my favorite books list.

For Project Manager's and Sharepoint apps users...this is good stuff.
