Not a big fan of the vampire/zombie/werwolf etc. genre but then there is always the exception.

Take the existential zombie (or living dead)philosopher Stony Mayhall and you have a winner. Laugh out loud funny while examining the deeper layers of prejudice.

Excellent book.

I was captivated. I certainly hope this is only the first of many! I love the characters. I love the writing. I love the story. I need some more please!

Fair. Not as engaging as her other Fox series books have been.

12/21 is past so meh...

Interesting addition to my study of various spiritualities. Mr. Beal isn't trying to proselytize but presents the books of the bible rather than the book called the Bible in a way that makes sense. He presents the library in an intelligent way that while avoiding the traps and trappings of literalism.

Listened to this book and now must go back and read it in order to take copious notes and apply! Great book although at times the case study after case study format did get a bit tiring.

I know it's gotten great reviews...I simply can't finish it. Maybe later

The covers cool.

The rest of the book is really, truly awful and I won't waste my time telling you more.

I think this is probably my favorite of the Flavia de Luce books so far. Flavia the semi-mad scientist - at least in her mind - is growing up. She of course solves the murder which her small village seems to such an attractant to. But here's the kicker...the last line reveals a MASSSIVE cliff-hanger which is that...well I suppose you wouldn't want me to tell you that.

Enjoy!

A bit repetitive. Some good parts.

Frequent travelers enjoy. How to get the star treatment at your hotel destination.

Foods dirty little adventure from mouth to ...well you know. Fascinatin.

Snort out loud funny. A tiny bit confusing in places but Ms. Jenny explains it so it makes it a little better. FUN!

Fun book with a message. The “commercial breaks” were incredibly annoying for me however.

Settling in to an excellent series. I'm so excited!

Intuition by any other name with some genetics thrown in.

Good roundup of a few alternative investments that can add diversity to your portfolio. As always once a book like this is written with specific investments named that information will have changed by the time the book is published but this book did give me enough education that I can speak with a financial adviser on how I might use some of these strategies and not be held completely to mutual funds or individual stocks.

Stark, gritty, not always pleasant but an incredibly good read! Hats off to the author she grabbed me by the ruff of my neck and shook me throughout the book!

Never quite sure of this is all the truth as the author himself talks about how often Shin changed his story.

We all have our own tastes and while this book is a little drawn out in places overall I enjoyed the characters - and by that I mean I loved some (Jack)and despised some (Kit) but I was never indifferent to any of them.

Cut about a hundred pages and it could possibly be a better book but for the most part I really liked it.

Flavia is initiated into the real family business.

While I've always liked the Flavia books this one really hits it out of the park! Flavia is growing up and the author is growing too. This sixth book in the series goes somewhere just a little bit beyond words. Yes we still have the humor and the good story telling but this time the tale is nuanced and a pure delight to read.

Thank you Mr. Bradly for an excellent romp and read all wrapped up in a shroud of grief.

Redneck, hillbilly noir. Excellent writing with addictive story line and characters.

The Ozarks hills are the perfect backdrop to excellent characterization. Ms. McHugh weaves a story of intrigue, betrayal, and redefines the meaning of family as opposed to blood kin.

My only tiny wince is that the ending seemed a bit hurried.

More to come when I get a chance.

For Project Manager's and Sharepoint apps users...this is good stuff.
