The show is fun the book is OK.

If you've read the others this one continues to deliver. Patricia Briggs has a winner with Mercy Thompson, a mechanic who also happens to be a shape shifting coyote pair-bonded to a jealous werewolf. Light, entertaining, and great fun!

The language was delicious, the plotting was thick and exciting and then I got bored. The relationship between Bruno and Lydia was wince inducing for about the first fourteen times but then I became immune to the sexual aspects of Lydia and Bruno and was just thinking, “yeah, I got it she's consensually “F**king” a chimp.” Again the language made me continue to read but at some point I found myself wanting to skip large parts of the narrative - I didn't. After that the book was rescued by characters such as Clever Hands and his quiet communication as well as the stupendous girth physically, mentally and psychologically of Leon. All in all it could have been a welcome smaller book but it just gets clunky as a large one.

Basically readable. Not great.

High concept plot. Expertly crafted tension. Good read!

I usually enjoy Stein's books but this one doesn't work for me.

Front piece for AWAI...Agora publishing. Gold. Commodities. Failing dollar. are our purported salvation.

Solid reference book. If you've used Evernote at all most of this will seem basic but there are a few things I was able to incorporate.

Nicely turned. Mostly delicious. Wish I could give it 3.75. Well worth reading for the foodie and family element. Left me wanting one more tasty bite.

Even though I don't always agree with Mr. Stein I do always find wit and wisdom from his writing. I'm happy to sort through the nuggets that work and apply for me.

Habits, we all have them. This book tries to show us how they keep us running in place.

You don't get practical tips on how to change until page 275 and by page 286 you are at the acknowledgments.

The story was just OK. But I don't know why the author or the editor would ever let her try to deep Cajun dialog. Heavy handed and annoying...was really looking forward to this series...but not now.

Fun read in immersion non-fiction. Mr. Jacobs is a good writer and comes up with subjects that will appeal to almost everyone. If you are interested in your health it's definitely worth a read.

fun, sexy, well written. Fallen Angels falling in love with dead people. All good.

High on personal stories and motivation low on actual exercises.

Sorry but for me this was excruciatingly dull. I gave it the requisite 53 page read then skimmed ahead a little to see if it picked up...it didn't.

I like good poetry and I laud Mr. McGackin for his efforts. There are a couple of good poems in here such as “O Captain! My Captain America!” and a few others. Unfortunately overall the work is uneven. I will look forward to more of his works as he is in there swinging.

Mr. Katz's title indicates in-depth and whoa Nellie does it ever deliver. Excellent resource.

AUTHOR: DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW!!! I want to see more of your work. I don't think my review is going to keep you from writing - at least I hope not, but it's really not something you need to hear.

Amnesia is an antiquated plot device and pushes a book to the level of soap opera. The writing is snappy, but I got distracted about 4/5's of the way through the book and that is not a good place for that to happen.

Chilling. We've seen some of this happening outside the United States and now we are seeing it begin within the US. Fundamentalism and zealotry - no matter what shape or form is never good for the majority of the people - and those people who practice these things almost always say they are doing it for the good of society. This is a lie. Do not believe liars - because they will lie to you. They will also say they are the exception. That is most likely a lie - we saw that in the last US election when people did not vote with their morals, but for power over others.

Do not ever believe that liar will not continue to lie.

Theory sans action = stasis....read his first book “A Whole New Mind” if you want something to get your jazz going.

Wanted to like. Didn't. Couldn't finish.

This book will require closer reading but from my first time through it appears that Mr. Kelley presents a solid system that will help us to realize that there should not be a fight between our work life and our personal life but they are both a part of what makes up our total being.

Some of his anecdotes are quite dated and if you haven't heard them before then you haven't been listening. But get beyond those and there are some nuggets to be found.

For Project Manager's and Sharepoint apps users...this is good stuff.
