Couldn't get into this one. Had to force myself to finish it. Very slow book although the story was good.

Oh my heart ... what a story of strength, heartache, sacrifice, and learning what living really means. I could barely read the last few chapters with tears streaming down my face. Worth reading even though your heart will ache.

This is fast becoming my favorite series of this year. I am really loving this fairy tale retelling. These characters, the action, the romance, absolutely love all of it.

This was a very interesting, and enjoyable read. A different take on present dark fairy telling.

What an amazing, heartbreaking story. I could not imagine going through what the people in this story did. The chaos, the despair, love, heartbreak, terror and cruelty of war. Beautifully written. I was in tears more than once.

I just could not get into this book. This is not a thriller. It's more a mystery. The writing was really flat and I had a hard time even wanting to finish this.

I do appreciate the author offering this on Goodreads, and was happy to win and review.

I'm a nerd...love comics, especially XMen and Marvel so I'm saying that...love this book! Writing is done really well and I love the MCs. Can't wait to read the rest of this series.

Interesting take from Warner's perspective. Enjoyed seeing into his mind and actions. Helps understand where he's coming from.

This was a lot better than I expected it to be. I was engaged from the beginning. Good writing and characters.

I really liked the other books I have read by her (The Cellar and The Lost), but this one was not a favorite.

Love the graphics. I'm not one for graphic novels but this was an interesting one.

This was a fun and different type of read. A look at the other side of consequences and the pull of the heart to be a better person, to show the world you can change. I loved this story and am already looking for other books to read by this author.

Such a cute cozy mystery. I am going to enjoy working through this series.

Such a cute, quick read. Who doesn't love a cozy mystery with a cat named Watson. Plus it's a librarian snooping around trying to solve a mystery in an old school Manor.

I don't usually read romance novels but I'm glad I was talked into reading this one. I lost count how many times I laughed. Yes it was cheesy but it was a nice, light change from the thrillers lol. If you need something to brighten your heart, this will do it.

What a great book. One that makes you think while enjoying the dark side of humanity and the light still held within.

This was a pretty good read. Twisted ā€œgamesā€ that make you shudder. The ending has me a bit

This one is definitely not for the faint of heart. How I read this as a teen still shocks me...so much more seen as I read through it this time around. Stephen King is a great writer although he's not for everyone.

This was a great read. So much heartache and sadness throughout but also filled with the unconditional love of a parent and the desire to be better. I loved the way this was written, capturing the fear, grief and happiness. I also appreciated and liked the end.

Holy cow. This is her debut! I absolutely love her style, word play, storyline, all of it. Very quick and enjoyable read. Cannot wait for her next one. ā¤ļø

This is definitely going to be one of my favorite series. Love. Magic. Evil. Friendship and family. I am really loving this trilogy.

I really wanted to like this one. I loved the creativity with the backwards timeline reading but it still fell flat for me. The entire book was build up and the ending felt completely rushed and parts of it didn't make sense as part of the twist. I had issues with the MC too and just didn't like her. This is the 2nd one for me by this author and while I love her storylines it seems a pattern of slow reading and rushed endings.

Wow! This was completely outside the realm of what I normally read. I am not a gamer but the context of this book drew me in. I was not disappointed! Love all the MCs. Writing was done very well. Intrigue, love, twists of fate and more. I am thankful I was given the opportunity by the author to read and review this one. I am definitely going to continue this series.

This was a great read. Even though some parts were predictable it certainly kept me on my toes. I did not want to put this one down. Absolutely loved the ending. I haven't read a financial thriller before. I'm sure the realities of Wall Street are very similar to how they are portrayed here. I will be looking forward to reading another book by this author.

85% of this slow, agonizing book is buildup...but to what! The ending was hurried and has such a lack of closure you're left with more questions than anything. There are multiple parts of the book that allude to something and then nothing comes of it. So why was it a part of the story at all...I think I'm done trying to read this author as this is the 3rd book I've read by her. She just doesn't work for me.
