Another interesting read. I really enjoy the way she writes. Neighborhood treachery and secrets is brilliantly portrayed in this fast paced and easy to read thriller.
In Book 2 we return to the small town of Yasamee, GA and the antics of Miss Vivee, Mac and Logan. Local playboy Oliver Gibbons turns up dead and of course, according to Miss Vivee, only she can solve his murder.
I cannot get enough of Miss Vivee and her feisty attitude. She may be older but she will dang sure put you in your place and make you remember your manners. I was laughing so much while reading this one and can't believe I waited so long to jump back in. Dang life and having to be an adult
An author acquaintance recommended Hannah and Ariela because he figured it was one I would like, and was right. I haven't read this author before, and now I want to go through the backlist and read it all.
The writing is haunting and beautiful for the situations and scenarios involved in this book. From the very first chapter my heartstrings were already being pulled and it continued on throughout.
I absolutely love when a book can be short but also powerful. This is but a glimpse into a world most know nothing about and probably don't even give the time of day to. This was both terrifying and uplifting at the same time. Highly recommend this one.

What I love in a Stephen King short story. The endings usually make you think about where the story goes and when it comes to his writing, I like this.
The narrator is great on this one and the story was interesting for the most part. I especially loved the way it finishes off. Definitely one for King fans.
I love anything to do with Wizards and Magic. This is a very well written story, with similarities to Harry Potter. I love the characters and the quest they are on to solve the mystery and save the magical world they live in. The ending certainly has you wanting to read Wayward Son and continue the story of Simon Snow.
