Curiosamente, Lessons in Chemistry ácido una grata sorpresa.
God approved marriage. Did he sleep with other women? What a question. Didn't everyone?
But then you talk and discover he's a closet Nazi and thinks women complain too much. Poof. Just like that the delicate bond is broken.
Securely connected to the dog for the very first time, Calvin turned and locked the door behind him. He was dead thirty-seven minutes later.
¿H2Ola? ¿Calcio eso?
(badum tss)
His goal: to learn how the enemy camp explained creation so he could refute it.(...) The problem with being a minister was how many times a day he had to lie.
“But you realize,” she said carefully, as if not to embarrass him further, “that faith isn't based on religion. Right?”
a priori
“I don't like these things,” Harriet muttered as she studied the badly drawn oak, its branches demanding names of relatives—living, lost, dead—one related to the other by marriage, birth, or bad luck. “Nosy little sapsucker. Did it come with a subpoena, too?”
He'd stared at the test results, expecting to feel cheated or devastated or any of the other ways he'd guessed he was supposed to feel, but instead he'd felt completely nonplussed. The results didn't matter at all. Amanda was his daughter and he was her father. He loved her with all his heart. Biology was overrated.
Elizabeth y Calvin.
So, I guess I respect the grind
“Whenever you start doubting yourself,” she said, turning back to the audience, “whenever you feel afraid, just remember. Courage is the root of change—and change is what we're chemically designed to do.”
