I think for it's time this was a great book. By today's standards it's a little slow. It's well written, but I struggled to finish it.

Beautiful writing and sobering story. It is a new twist on a dystopian future previously discussed in other literature. Apart from its flowery prose it does not stand out to me.

Beautiful and powerful poems. The author makes herself very vulnerable and open about her experiences. The poems are relatable and emotional.

This is a grump meets sunshine story.
I found this story charming and engrossing. The characters were written so well and the dialog was spot on.

Very creative and complex world building. Likeable characters that you can really get invested in.

Beautiful writing but a painfully slow story line for me.

I just don't love the characters and the magical realism is overly sentimental.

This book will require some thought. It was a deep and painful read.

Laugh out loud funny imaginative, a wonderful adventure

I absolutely loved this book. It boosted my mood a lot and I couldn't wait for the next part of the story.

Pros:
The plot has gotten even better and more interesting
I'm starting to really like a lot of the side characters

Cons:
It's like regular attraction and steamy scenes have been exhausted and so now the scenes are getting more complicated and kinky.

A little dark for some children but overall a great book. The personalities of the dragons really come out in the story.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. The storyline and characters are really likeable.
It's definitely on the spicy side and not a great book for conservative or readers under 18.

Contains spoilers

1/3 of the book could be edited out due to repeated redundant scenes emphasizing how amazing
Poppy is and how much Cass loves her. It just got to be too much

I persevered and now I've got to the intense ending I HAVE to move in to the next book to find out what happens

Excellent world building amazing plot. Gag worthy romance. Both ridiculous and clever dialogues

Beautiful and moving.

3.75 stars. Loved the first 2/3s. The last 1/3 was rushed and icky.

There's been a lot of books modeled after Harry Potter but this is one of my favorite.

This is such a sweet heart warming story. I really enjoyed it.

I have some very mixed feeling about this book. I almost quit it a few times it made me so angry at times. I do think it is creative and moving.

I really enjoyed this book. I was able to connect with the characters. I enjoyed their personalities and I I found the prose to be excellent- purple prose as they say.

So many great quotes and phrases. My favorite Vonnegut yet.
