Def some pacing issues, y'all know I hate a third act breakup. Spicy scenes were NOT IT. Also idk why but the piggyback ride thing gave me a huge ick oops. There was no real conflict/plot here honestly and I wish there was, like the only real problem here was Aiden having commitment issues (that were never resolved????) don't get me wrong this was well worth the read, Grayson and Mateo were chef's kiss and I adored Maya! Overall i think it needed more fine tuning plot wise to be truly good
She did an excellent job don't get me wrong, but it's so so hard for me to give memoirs high stars when the person is so young. There didn't feel like there was level of healing and introspection necessary for a fully mature memoir here, it felt unfinished. I could never think to write a memoir right now in my life even though I've done so much because there's still so much to learn and there's so much growing to do. I think this would've been better in 15-20 years.
