Started off strong but eventually lost interest. 2 ⭐

Beautiful writing from a favorite classic author. 5 ⭐

Starts off strong but fails to keep my interest. The writing was very good but the subject matter was a little difficult. Prepare for tissues. 3.5 ⭐

This was slow and alternated between times but also between first person and something else making it confusing and I just did not mesh with the story. I wanted to so much but I don't think this is a book for me. That said, the writing was very good as were the characters! RTC. 3.5 ⭐

My favorite Mary Stewart novel is still Madam Will You Talk? This was a good one but it seemed slow at times. I enjoyed the light mystery and the characters. It's another good Mary Stewart book, one I hope to eventually add to my physical collection. 3.5 ⭐

I'm putting this aside. It's not a dnf, it's a one story at a time situation. The first story was readable, had good writing but I really didn't like the characters at all.

The stories are important, in that they tell of immigration of women, however I did not enjoy the writing style. 3 ⭐

This was fine, but I just didn't connect with it. 2.5 ⭐.

This was good. It altered back and forth with current events. A romance with a little drama, it was a good short read.

A hard book to read but well worth it. Have tissues. 5 ⭐

Pitiful body count for a vampire book.

Set during Pride Month, and absolutely perfect. 5 ⭐ for all the emotional feels.

LGBT polish fantasy. ❤️

This was poetry, in a way, and while the writing was fine I didn't enjoy it much. Yes I liked the descriptions but I'm not sure I fully grasped what this was trying to convey. This may require a reread and I need to get a physical copy. 3 ⭐.

A little too similar to book one, but I still had a good time. Amelia Peabody is a delight although I hope that the next book won't be another rinse and repeat. Ramses is just adorable. 4.5 ⭐

Damn. Short but brutal.

Slow, but good writing however mostly bored. 3 ⭐

The most astoundingly boring book that tries really hard but essentially lacks character development and has zero desire to have an interesting plot whatsoever.

What the fuck did I just read?

I love the cover. I love the title. But I really did not like this book at all. The format was difficult and the story boring af. 1.5 ⭐
