Books, cats, murder and a little romance. What's not to like?!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

Gah! January!

Full of interesting and fun characters with a twisty mystery.

I think I would like this more if Kath's ghost Geneva wasn't so annoying! She's so whiny!

I was drawn in by the title, but about halfway through the book I got bored and then the wrap up at the end felt like a cop out.

Weird and quite all over the place.

There was nothing spectacular here, but it did end a story arc I was really bored with so yay.

I loved this. I loved how I doubted myself throughout the book and HATED Katherine. This had my emotions all over the place and I loved it. And it was fucking gory as all get out.

I had high hopes for this one, but I really, really disliked it. I hated every character in this book, but no one more than Roach, though Laura was pretty awful as well. Ugh.

Wish the ending was different, but nonetheless, this was a good one.

A run of the mill conspiracy whodunit. Disappointing mostly in that the killer was obvious from early on. What made this a little different was getting to know the victims after knowing they were dead. Otherwise, there wasn't much that made this stand out for me.

A quick read that I thoroughly enjoyed!

A solid cozy with a fun supernatural tilt.

I can't remember the last time I read a cozy mystery where the MC was married with kids. What a weird thing to remark on, I know. I don't know what else to say about this. I felt like it was just setting up a story for later on. It was fine.

I'm not sure what I'll do if Cleo and Harry ever admit their feelings! Otherwise another fun installment in the Cleopatra Fox Mysteries!

There were definitely some funny parts, but on the whole it was just okay.

I expected a murder mystery of sorts, but this was not that. I think had it not been for the descriptions of food I might have just scrapped the book entirely.

Holy unreliable narrators, Batman!

This was a fun read with lots of stories I've heard before, but a few things I hadn't. I used to listen to the Lore podcast so this was right up my alley. Thought about starting up the podcast again!

Not sure which was crazier. This or Bride.

I don't know. Could I read a more pretentious book? Probably, but this was pretty high up there.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out....

An honest look inside what it was like to be gay while growing up deeply religious. At times funny, but also very emotional, Esposito didn't shy away from the unflattering parts, but everything felt gentle and held grace. She wasn't mean and she wasn't bitter and I really enjoyed this memoir.
