I read this book in school. I remember my teacher reading this book to my class. I remember enjoying this book at the time.

Great series for young kids who are not yet ready for Harry Potter or are looking for a similar story to dip there toes into. Beloved series of my childhood.

This was one of my first actual novels I read when I was younger. I remember when I went to my school library looking for something new and more challenging than my usual reads (ex. Magic Tree House, Magic School Bus, Cam Jansen, Junie B. Jones, Flat Stanley, etc)

I ended up devouring this book and quickly picking up the sequel at my school library. I just have so many fond memories of this series and I hold it dear to my heart.

I am only putting this on my “DNF” shelf because I put this book down for too many months. I just got distracted with other books and other things going on in my life. I know that when I finally do sit down and read this book in its entirety I will absolutely love it.

HELL TO THE FREAKING YESSSSSSSSS! I NEED THIS BOOK NOW!
