I really loved rereading this book! Definitely a lot better than having to wait weeks for the next serial. Viola Rivard, there is just something about your writing style that makes me love everyone of your books. The romance, as always, was swoon worthy.

Yet again.. love this author!

This book was all kinds of messed up. But there was just something about this book that would not let me put it down. I think this book was a great story and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a creepy mystery that's unputdownable.

Definitely makes me want to pick up The Hollows series. Great art work!

Oh. My. Gosh. Oh. My. Gosh. This. Book. Is. Freaking. Amazing. Everyone. Everywhere. Needs. To. Read. This. Novella. Now! Seriously though... read this freaking amazing and wonderful novella now. Thank you!

Wish there was more! Looking forward to Gennifer's serial!

For some reason, this novella made me dislike Aspen quite a bit.

I really enjoyed reading from Adam's point of view. Not much else to say.

There's many things to like about this book.... and there's many things to dislike. Personally I love the Avengers & The X-Men & The Darkest Minds & The Hunger Games, so I thought I'd end up loving this book, unfortunately I don't think love is the word I'd use for my feelings of this book.

About halfway through this book I was hit with so much Hunger Games Deja Vu that I felt like whipping this book across the room. This book might as well have been labeled a retelling of The Hunger Games!

Thank god that Victoria Aveyard wrote the last half of this book way better than the first half or I would've flipped out. She ended up surprising me in the end, thank god too because I was getting tired of knowing what was going to happen next. The ending of this book definitely makes me want to continue on with Glass Sword (I've already preordered the Barnes & Noble exclusive signed edition!).

OMG! Amazing! Freaking love everything Viola writes! I am completely addicted to her writing style and her characters.

It was okay. Liked getting to know Maxon a bit more, but it wasn't anything I didn't already assume about him. Wanted to read this before reading The Elite.

Yet again.. I need more!!!! Amazing story, extremely addicting, swoon worthy characters!

Not bad, definitely love the fresh new dragon series. DRAGONS!!!

Rating: 3.25 out of 5 stars

I've picked this book up and put it right back down multiple times. I was almost going to give up on this series, but I just couldn't do that because everyone talks about how much they love this series, so I gave this book one last try. I finally finished this book! Yay me!

By the last 20 chapters completely changed my view of this series and has me definitely going to finish this series. Thanks so much to everyone who pushed me to continue on with this series.

Yet again, this is so addicting!

Amazing addition to the Enslaved serial! Can't wait for the next part!

There's just something about Viola's writing style that just has me hooked! Plus, all Viola's characters are really interesting. NEED PART 3!

Yet again... I am just hooked on Viola's writing style, no matter what she writes, all her books are 4s and higher!

I've been searching for a series that would give me feels that I was so desperate for after reading my all time favorite Adult Urban Fantasy series, Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost.

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS, READ AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE

I think I may have found that series with the Chicagoland Vampires series!

Wonderful characters that have attitude and aren't afraid to show it. Merit is a wonderful main character who grew a lot in this first novel. I know that Merit has a lot more to learn and she has a lot more character development to go, but I am excited to watch her develop into a Kick-Ass Vampire who doesn't take shit from anybody. Mallory was an adorable roommate and best friend to Merit. Mallory was definitely an original character who develops into something entirely new later on.

I loved Catcher and Mallory's relationship! So, so cute!

By the time this novel was coming to a close, I had no idea who was behind the attacks that when the perpetrator was revealed, I was totally surprised!

I have high hopes for the next coming novels in this series, please don't let me down!!!

Yet again, Jessie does not disappoint! Can't wait to start part 2.

More like 2.75 stars.

June and Day and Tess and pretty much everyone in this book are so annoying. They have no depth and I didn't care if they lived or died.

The only character I actually found myself liking was Kaede (is that how her name is spelled? lol)

I completely do not understand the hype for this trilogy!!!

(CAN BE CONSIDERED A SPOILER FOR CHAMPION)

Anywho.. seems like Champion is going to turn out to be another Allegiant! Ugh...

I thought that this book was okay, and honestly I feel like 4 stars is quite generous, but for whatever reason I decided to rate it that way.

There were many times I felt like the story dragged on, even when there was action! I don't know if it was Yasmine's writing style or that I wasn't in the mood to read this type of book.

I think I like Shimmer, but I don't know. Hopefully when the sequel comes out, Shimmer will have more depth and personality.

I really disliked the vampires in this book. They're definitely not what I imagine vampires to act and talk like. Vampires I picture are Vlad, Bones, Cat, Ian, etc in Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress world. I guess that maybe I'm just picky.

I also really didn't like Shimmer and Alex's romance. I completely do not ship them!

Otherwise, I really liked the overall concept and ideas from this book. Hope the sequel will be much better!

It was a nice refresher into the world of Legend. Now I can move on to Prodigy.

For mature audiences only, 18+! This novel contains content that is meant for mature readers only!

Another fantastic series by Jenycka Wolfe! She's become one of my favorite guilty pleasures authors of all time. Of course the Wildlanders series will always be my favorite, this is a definite second!

Alistair was sweet and adorable trying his best to be a Footman and not sex play-thing but Isobel wants Alistair and she knows there is a part of Alistair that wants her too. As with every Jenycka Wolfe novel the sex was hot. The characters were fun yet relatable in a way that I connected with them easily.

Can't wait for a sequel!

First off, this book (as is all of Jenycka's previous novels) are very adult, meant for 18+.

Coral seemingly tries to bide by her parents religious ways, but finds that she cannot and gets caught doing what is forbidden to her religion. She's soon kicked out of her church and swept away to a man who at first seems strict and uncaring and a jerk but later seems sensual and deep-hearted.

I thought Coral was definitely relatable in her situation because I mean what woman isn't going to exploit what she can and figure out things on her own. What woman wouldn't feel desire and not exploit it? It's completely natural.

I felt terrible for Coral and how her parents and community treated her for only doing what was natural to any woman sexually repressed. At first I hated Josiah, but later found him to be one of my favorite characters. He was a very complex seeming character. I felt like there was a lot more to Josiah than he would let show. I also knew he wouldn't be able to resist Coral, lol!

This novel was written in an overly interesting, nail-biting, hair-pulling way that only Jenycka Wolfe can write!
