I don't understand all the hate that this book has received. Yes, I get that their is a lot of racism and sexism and homophobia etc that occurs in this book. I also know that the main character is ignorant in the beginning, but that is only because of how she was raised. I loved watching Elloren grow up and mature throughout the entirety of this book. Elloren still has a lot to develop by the end of this book, so I expect some more character development in the sequel.

So much happened in this book and I loved all of it. Characters that I hated at first, I grew to love as the book went on. I also hated some characters throughout the whole book.. with a passion. cough cough Fallon Bane cough cough.

There are so many questions I still have about the characters and the story in general. I really am shipping Elloren and Yvan together! Please make it happen in book two!

It was never made clear what exactly Yvan is, so what exactly is he? I have a theory that he is a Wyvern-Shifter, but I'm not sure. Will Elloren's powers get unlocked? Will Tierney and her family get to safety? Will Aislinn give in to her heart and be with Jarod? Will Rafe turn into a Lupine to mate with Diana? Will Ariel ever be friends with Elloren? Will Naga be healed and help our rag-tag team of rebels? Will Trystan find someone to love and who loves him in return? Will Vogel & Vyvian be defeated? Will Marina's skin be found so she can return to the sea? Will we ever see Uncle Edwin again? I really love our rag-tag team of heroes; Elloren, Trystan, Rafe, Tierney, Marina, Ariel, Wynter, Rhys, Cael, Jarod, Diana, Aislinn, and Yvan and I guess Professor Kristian & Quillen. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Ahsoka.... Ahsoka.... Ahsoka.... You're the best character that has, does, and will ever exist.

I really loved this snippet into Ahsoka's life even though it broke my heart to read about. Ahsoka has gone through so much suffering and torment throughout her whole life and she deserves so much better. My heart breaks for her.

Now, to be completely honest, I hate Star Wars. But, I do love the Clone Wars cartoon and will leave Star Wars at that. I read this solely for more Ahsoka because she is bae.

I completely recommend the audio version of this book especially because Ashley Eckstein narrates this book and for those of you who are Ahsoka fans will know exactly who she is. Plus there is awesome sound effects.

E.K. Johnston did a great job bringing her to the page. I just really want more!

I was really hoping to love Steel, but I don't. Nothing in this book was flushed out. The characters were very flat. I wasn't rooting for anyone.

Bella is my favorite character in this whole series so far, but her character just dragged for me in this novella. This novella was/is really pointless in my opinion, all it does is set up Razor's book next by introducing his true mate.

& why does Bella and Iron gotta drag out becoming mates? Just get it over with already.

Characters are all right. One of the better books in this series so far.

Just got this in the mail today and had to drop everything else I was reading to read this.

Love, love, love all the characters! Hate the cliffhangers..

Great science-fiction series, great characters, great world-building, great everything!

Completely and utterly recommend to all mature audiences!

Although I had a few problems with this book, mainly the lack of female friendships (categorizing women as backstabbers and b**es with each other, which I totally disagree with) and Adelice's emotions. She barely had any, it was like if she had a kitten and it died she'd be like “oh, that's so sad” and then barely even shed a tear. It just really bothered me.

Anyways, the story/plot was really interesting, it kept wanting more. The writing style was okay enough.

Oh my god, this book was amazing. I haven't read a book in a while that kept me on my toes the whole entire time. The characters were well written and same goes for the plot. I really really want book 2 now! I kind of hate myself for reading it so soon cause now I have to wait so long for the sequel.

So glad I am starting off 2017 with such great reads!

I'm sorry it took me so long to start and finish this book. This book is a lot like Throne of Glass in its ability to throw you through a whirlwind of emotions without mercy. I completely recommend this book to anyone who isn't afraid of intense emotions and high fantasy stories. Good luck to anyone else who starts this adventure.

P.S. King Gaius is an asshat.

P.P.S. WTF did I just get myself into.

I've always been a big fan of Bill Maher's HBO show: Real Time with Bill Maher and so reading this was inevitable for me. This book contains some of Bill's New Rules that didn't make it onto his show and others were some of his favorites. There were some extended New Rules in each section, and those tended to be my favorites.

Even though Bill Maher is a liberal, he isn't above admitting liberal faults. & so even though I don't consider myself a liberal, I understand and for the most part agree with Bill's points. It also helps that he doesn't deliver false news just to appease his viewers, he isn't afraid/ against telling the truth. Getting the truth on media sites/ channels is a very difficult thing now a days because all they care about is their ratings.

Back on to the New Rules in this book and Bill's New Rules in general. Bill's humor can sometimes be hard to swallow for certain groups of people and I can understand that. I understand that each New Rule on his show/in his book start with something that is true but is wrong and he makes a ‘New Rule' for them. If that makes any sense.

Anyway, I love Bill because of his straightforwardness and willingness to admit when he was wrong and he expects the same to be returned to him.

I really love this graphic novel series and cannot wait for Volume 7 to release early 2017. The ending totally surprised me in a really great way.

My emotions are way to wild right now to make a comprehensible review. I'll check back later and write a more descriptive one then. Just let me tell you that I love this book! WTF was I thinking when I put off this trilogy for so long?!

I really want to go out and get volume 6 right now.. ugh, reader problems lol. Well this was a pretty darn good installment in the Saga graphic series.

This series just keeps getting better and better!

So many great characters and a fantastic story line! I am definitely addicted!

Well this is definitely a fun science fiction story! Love everything about it!

I didn't really love or even like this novella either... love the books just not the novellas. Marlee is a great character but I didn't really get invested in this little snippet of her life.

Got this Graphic Novel because of all the hype and I ended up liking it a lot. Wish I had bought the other volumes too.

This book just sucked and was nothing like I thought it was going to be.

I really need book two right now... oh my gosh! This book was really good. Echo was a wonderful main character. I really liked both love interests but I like one more than the other I think.. I am really frustrated by both sides of the war in this book.. so I hope Echo and her friends can overcome all sides and evils in the next two books.

Oh my gosh... this book was amazing!

The romance was swoon worthy and the conflict was “keep you on your toes” worthy. I loved Shazi's character. Gosh, everything about this book made me want more.

& that ending though.... broke my heart.

So excited for the sequel/conclusion.

The only thing I didn't like about this little novella was that Iron called his mate a b** multiple times and even his mate called herself that. I just really don't like that at all. Otherwise nice novella.

Not bad, just wasn't a big fan of the love interest, the prince.

This was definitely an interesting read. I quite enjoyed the plot and story-line.

Aria was a great main character and she embodied many of the things I love in Female MC's. The love interest was swoon worthy and made me want to live in this world.

The antagonist(s) were definitely a pain in the arse! I just really REALLY disliked them. This story was fast paced and had me flipping through this book eager for more. Thank god I own the sequel and can start it soon, I just need to buy the finale (Into the Still Blue).

I am quite excited to find out more about this world, see how the romance from this book flows into book two, see if the conflict(s) get resolved, and get to learn more about the other side characters. Can't Wait!
