Overly long and quite dull at times whilst O and the gang do their stuff. It's a good story for the series but book 2 could have been incorporated into a much livelier 2 book series.

Enjoyable ronp with Q, but Jean Luc seems to be a bit too easily wound up by him I think.

Brilliant. Enough said.

I did enjoy this book, but felt it was too predictable, and in some ways a bit silly. Pucarda actions, disobeying orders etc, how many time can you roll that out without someone sacking him? Despite this I did enjoy it. Illogical captain but true.

The conversation with Janeway was one of the weakest points of the book for me. The biggest threat to the Federation turns up and you spend a minute talking about it. Either Picard is mad, in which case theres no harm him going to investigate, or relieve him of command. Or he's right in which case by the time 7 turns up it will be too late to stop them. The decision Janeway made was purely so Picard could disobey her and not at all what she would have done. She had no choice but let him investigate or relieve him of command. Despite this it's still a fun book, though entirely predictable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. An interesting plot, good characterisation but a slightly limp ending.

Very enjoyable Picard tale, though I didn't enjoy the sun plot ending of the assembly of the crew as much as the main plot for some reason. I felt that was a bit bolted on.

I quite enjoyed this final installment - more a 3.5 than a 4 for me, but that's maybe due to my age and fading brain power! I struggled at times to remember who everyone was in which timeline and what they were up to! A bit of an anticlimatical finish too in some ways, leaving some questions unanswered like TV series do sometimes meaning another book may appear later. Not sure I'll read it if it does though. Enjoyable series, but not 5*.

This is far better than the first book, which I found a bit dull and slow. I'm glad I got the series now and am looking forward to book 3. I liked the historical scenes being linked in but did find the plot a bit timey whimey as the Doctor might say and occasionally a bit hard for this ageing brain to keep up with.

This was not a bad book. Quite an intricate web of time travel - which was one of the good parts of the book - but slow, a bit predictable in a TV show sort of way “It's important you do this” ok I'll do the opposite, which I never like much in a plot and of course the elephant in the room, it's not St Mary's, which of course is hugely unfair, but if you've read Jodi Taylor's series then you'll understand and if you haven't then get on with it now! Again, in TV comparisons this is like The Original Battlestar series to Star Wars. I like them both, but one was brilliant.

One of my favourite Greatcoats books, Falcio has spent most of the 3 books blundering from disaster to disaster generally making things worse as he went and you can almost feel how worn out he is. Great ending and lots of great banter too.

I enjoyed this book more than number 2. The plot is great and the heroes are so believable, full of flaws and doubts, rivalries and even hate. My only slight dislike is the fights with Falcio, the trouble with these is you know he will win, so they aren't really that exciting. I'd be happier if there was less of the fighting and more of his little grey cells putting he peices together and banter with the other Greatcoats. Still, excellent book.

Great characters - they feel like real people, flawed and scared, not like the action hero in films. Ther plot twists and turns and throws a few surprises and the way it makes good people help bad is clever and well done. I thought the booke wasn't as good as the first, but still enjoyable though a bit long.

Superbly written, great banter, wonderful plot and thoroughly enjoyable.

This is a good series of books which overall I enjoyed but I enjoyed the last one the least. The star trek characters are well written and the plot is clever though its conclusion left me feeling a bit let down. Obviously you know the baddy loses and the ST cahracters all live happily ever after, but it just felt a bit flat. Worth reading, but could easily have been just the 2 books not 3.

This is a good series, but a bit too drawn out and a bit too far fetched in the plot. The Federation never consider the obvious reasons behind the threat to the Accords. I've enjoyed it, but am looking forward to it concluding!

An enjoyable plot, though it's a bit drawn out. The star trek characters are spot on in their lines too. I'm half way into book 2 now and definitely think this series could have been shorter. It's still worth reading if you like Trek.

An excellent adventure with wobbly wobbly times wimey stuff. The characters are spot on and the angels menacing. Good plot and a fun read too.

This could have been written by ChatGPT with instructions to write a Roland Emerich style pandemic book. The characters are stereotypes, the plot daft and the characters can one minute be at deaths door and having to be carried then next thing you know they're wading through a fire with a person on their back. I found it quite ridiculous. Probably rhe worst book I've read in a long time. And soooo long.

Enjoyable, has dated quite well, but I didn't like the ending as much as the rest of the book.

I really enjoyed this book. I felt the characters - especially Strax - were just as they are portrayed by the actors, easy to picture them staying their lines. Good plot, maybe a bit weak ta times but throughout enjoyable romp. More Strax pleas.

Enjoyable read, hasn't dated too badly.

It's fairly enjoyable, but not really my cup of tea, Earl Grey, hot. I liked the baddies back story though.

Brilliant. Just visited Pompeii and to read this after made the ruined come to life. Great story, brilliantly written.

A very interesting and informative book. Well worth reading before you visit, unlike me who read it after!

The doctor and Donna were spot on conversationally and the plot was fun. Enjoyable read.
