  I am loving all of these books that are full of important women and young girls who did remarkable things. I love even more that all three of my kids love them too. Yep, even my 8 year old son.
  
  I want to make sure I mention that the art in this is beautiful. The illustrations, coloring, and font all make this book gorgeous.

  Not only is it teaching my kids to follow their dreams, it's teaching them who these amazing women are. I am not afraid to admit that my 29 year old self did not know who almost half of these people were. I love that this includes not only brilliant girls from the past but also some from the present. There are girls who are currently fighting for change and making the world better.
  
  As a mother this book is everything I want my girls to read. To know that they can do anything. That they matter and can be the voice/face of change.
  
  If you were a fan of Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls by Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo you will love this.

The drawings and cover are super cute but while there is some interesting information, it is also really redundant.

Requesting the rest of the series in the morning. I'm hooked.

A collection of poems so powerful and emotional you must read. The truth that is written on these pages, it's intense. The poems are a combination of experinces and history and I think that's what makes it so raw.

I also just want to mention that this cover is beautiful and amazing and it was the reason (along with the title) that I wanted to read more.

I have to say this is my first time reading ANY Spider-Man comic EVER and I know I probably should have started in the beginning but with comics there's a million universes and options, and I've seen so much hype over Miles I had to start here. I loved this. I'm glad this was my first Spidey. He's smart and whitty and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Totally worth that late fine I'm gonna get from the library. This is such an emotionally beautiful story.

Maybe if I actually knew who the people that were being named dropped were it would make a least a little more sense but from the beginning this book just isn't working.

From Twinkle, with Love is an amazingly sweet contemporary YA novel. I am starting to think Sandhya is a contemporary goddess. Her characters are relatable, flawed and adorkable. The idea behind this is totally my thing. However, the characters kill it. I wanted more action/adventure less everyone fawning over each other.

What's better than a group of girls who kick butt? ABSOLUTELY nothing. The art is awesome and I can't wait to see where the story goes.

I know reviews are supposed to make sense and be all detailed but I can't. Just go out and read this series. I don't know how it's possible but book 2 is even more amazing then book 1 and I'm so excited to read everything Zoraida comes out with. She's just an awesome person and her books are magic.

This was only my second time reading manga and I liked it much more than the first. I've always kind of heard of Death Note without ever actually knowing what it was. Flash forward to me watching the Death Note Netflix movie last year as my first look at what it is. I completely agree with the rest of the world that the movie was garbage but knowing that everyone who loves the series hates the movie made me want to read it even more.

It is such a unique and interesting plot. I need more anti-heroes in my life and Light definite fits the bill. I can't wait to see what he does next. I am actually really excited to keep going with the series. There are things I need to know. I like the way morality is being discussed here. Is Light going to become consumed by darkness? I also am really hoping that we are going to get as much info as we can about the Death Gods.

The artwork is perfect. It is simple but I feel like that helps the story. Sometimes too much color and designs can be overwhelming to the reader and story but I think this fits. Maybe I'll watch the anime after I finish them all to make up for Netflix. Anyways, I really liked it and will be continuing for sure.

I just can't. There is so much negativity, the way people dress, their makeup, their body size. It's just too much. Also the whole situation with Lorena's mom's boyfriend. I can't. That was when I stopped.

I started reading because of the new show they're making and let me say I can't wait to see it on screen. Take everything you know about Sabrina and through it away. The main characters names are the only thing that's the same everything else about them is different.

The artwork is amazing. I'm definitely continuing the series. It's a very unique story and I'm left with questions I need answers too.

I really enjoyed this. The setting is one of my favoritre parts. I love Ada and Cor. They are best friend goals. I had this thought while reading that the Cast Iron crew (minus a certain person) and the Six of Crows crew should be friends. That would make a heck of a story. I would love to know what the gang is up to after everything that happened.

As much as I love the nostalgia of reading Buffy I hate that these aren't in order. The whole thing is a jumble of events that take place throughout different seasons and there's no intro into who anyone is except for Buffy, Spike, and Dru (and that happens in Vol 1).

OMG. EVERY TIME WITH THIS SERIES. I CANT HANDLE IT. OBSIDEO IS GOING TO DESTROY ME INTO A MILLION TINY SPACE PARTICALS.

The art is super cute and I love the word Dude as much as the next person but that's literally the only word in the book.

I have been sitting here for a few days now trying to figure out what to do and what to write. We can all agree that what we want from readers and reviews is honesty. So, I'm going to do just that and be honest. 

When I first received this book I was so excited. It is so unique and it sounded like something that I could get into. I was instantly drawn to the book because of the magic and the fact that it's a retelling of Shakespeare. I enjoy Shakespeare as much as the next person but I haven't read that much. Maybe that's why this didn't work for me, my lack of understanding at some of the plays.  

I read about 60% of the book because I just didn't want to give up on it. I thought maybe if I go a little farther everything will click for me. It didn't. I was so confused basically the entire book. The book is split into two different perspectives Alda and Dreng. For me, the two parts didn't go together. It was as if they were separate books. I preferred Alda's sections over Drengs. The two points of view not only are different characters but they also happen through different moments in time or on different astral planes. At least that's what I understood of it and that I think is a good part of why I got so confused. There didn't seem to be an actual distinction between when the events were happening. 

I am really thankful that the author sent me a copy to read but it just wasn't for me.

The moment I read Hocus Pocus + Salem Witch Trails + Practical Magic I knew I had to read The Wicked Deep. This book was everything I hoped for and more. Shea Ernshaw just became an auto-read author of mine. I want everything that she creates. The writing is so beautifully done, it just flows from page to page. There is so much I want to say but I can't word it without giving away any spoilers. Just know I loved it and I am now planning to get a tattoo with a quote from this spellbinding masterpiece. Here are two of the quotes I loved: 

“Perhaps we all have some oddity, some strangeness we keep hidden along our edges, things we see that we can't explain, things we wish for, things we run from.”

“Magic is a tricky thing. Not easily measured or metered or weighed.”  

Holy crap! If we as humans in the very far future end up with crazy AI systems we probably deserve the demise it brings. Especially with as paranoid as we all are with the technology we have now. 

This book is so hyped up I was nervous to start it. I don't normally read sci-fi and apparently, I've been missing out on a lot because the book is EVERYTHING. I need Gemina now. The entire book had me in suspense and I'm totally in love with Kady & Ezra. There was multiple I almost cried moments and a TON of moments that had me looking like this...

The format was really interesting to me. The entire thing is split between journal entries, computer logs, emails, IMs, reports, etc. That really made the book unique. I couldn't tell that it was written by two authors. It flowed perfectly.  

I am definitely going to be finishing this series and looking into their other books

Great movie tie-in! The kids loved seeing more of Wonder Woman.
