Firstly no-one warned me about bed bugs. I don't have a phobia but i hate bugs and now im gonna be all itchy thinking about it.
This wasn't as scary/thriller as i imagined with all the hype but i still enjoyed it. I also appreciate her discussing the stigma on weed and how people look at you like your a junky when you smoke.
I really enjoyed this. I didn't realize there was another volume set before this so I'm going to be reading that too and the fact that I hadn't read it didn't take away from this at all. I'm actually really curious to see what's going to happen next. I love the art and the story kept me interested the whole time too.
I have a lot of mixed feelings about this one. It is super cute but for me it was really slow. The last like 30% was my favorite, it seemed to pick up pace once the conflict happened and everything went into disaster mode. By the time I was about 50% done i was just yelling at them to just combine bakeries and work together already. I'm totally planning on reading book to which follows Pet and Matthias and I like most people love Pet. If you enjoy slow burn, enemies to lovers, baking rivalries, and royal romances you would probably enjoy this too.
I can't wait to have a physical copy in my hands to read. This was everything. It's cute for one and the story has all of my favorite things; werewolves, vampires, family drama and even a little love story woven in.
Perfect for anyone who like middle grade graphic novels, supernatural things and stories of lovely found families.
I'm not ready for it to be over. I would like a glimpse of Proofrock in the future please. This was like being put into a slasher. I'm still reeling from this and it's been a few hours since I finished. I cried. I gasped. I was shocked. Stephen Graham Jones absolutely delivers again and it was amazing.
