This was so cute!  Meet Cute/Strangers to lovers Sweet with a drop of spice.

I love Pilar and I can't wait to see what other things she gets up too in the future. This was such a fun adventure, I literally laughed out loud at work a few times. I know there are a lot of reviewers saying there is
“to much spanish” but there really isn't. It was easy for me a non spanish speaker to follow along and it does not take away from the story at all, and if you aren't sure what a word means maybe use google. Pilar goes on a journey not only learning more about her family, culture and heritage but also herself. It is rich in Dominican folklore and history, which for me is twice is fun since I have 0 knowledge of it and I get to learn some while reading too.

I can't wait for book 2! I need to know what happens after everything. I like Kamal & Nique's relationship more and care more about them than Lessi & Zack but I still need to know what's gonna happen.

I did not expect to like this. I love Sal and him getting his HEA is all I want. Immediately adding book 2 to my tbr, I'm curious to see where the Rosas go from here.

I kind of just feel meh about it. I don't hate it but I don't know if I liked it either. Every person and relationship in this book angered me in some way. I am both glad Afi finally told them all off and also disappointed she didn't just take them for their money and go on living her own life at their expense to spite them all.

I love this series so much. I can't explain it. The first 2 books were really rocky but books 3 and 4 masterpieces. It has all the things you could want from a ya supernatural. There is so much character growth for these kids. They've gone through so much.

I cared about these two here way more than I do the aquaman movie.

I was very underwhelmed with this. Nothing really happened but the writing was gorgeous.

Okay so I can't date this yet. I received a copy through netgalley and there was a good handful of pages were the words were distorted and I couldn't make out what it said. I will be checking out a physical copy from the library and rereading it. I did find it interesting and got to read most of the story. Based on what I've read I'd say it's around a 4 star. I'm excited to read it and find out what I missed.

I don't know how to describe this without spoiling a bunch of stuff but I am curious to see where it goes in the next volume. This just left me feeling like everyone in the house full of questions and no answers.

slowly getting through these with all of the kids.

MAYHEM! Absolute mayhem and still so many questions.

I love them all so much.

i should have checked out vol 2 at the same time.

Loved this so much. I want more of the entire family. This was beautiful.

I absolutely loved this and I can't wait to check this out from the library for my kids to read when it comes out.

Rabbit Chase is an Anishinaabe retelling of Alice in Wonderland. It fuses Anishinaabe culture with the familiar tale of Alice. We follow Aimée as they explore themselves and their culture while dealing with middle school bullies. Not only do they get bullied for being Indigenous but also for being nonbinary which has to be exhausting for anyone let alone a 12 year old. who is still trying to figure out the world. Aimée goes on a school trip to offer gifts to the water spirits and ends up wondering off following the white rabbit. They must help defeat the dark water sprits in order to find their way home and rejoin their class.

I am a straight white woman in my 30s the rep here is obviously not a reflection of me in anyway but that did not stop me from really enjoying this. There are Ojibwe words throughout which does not make this hard to understand and there is even a glossary in the back if you're too lazy to google. The art is really cute to top it off. I encourage you to find reviews by Indigenous and nonbinary people if you want a more in-depth look at this since it's not something I dive into.

😭😭

okay so no one seems to be mentioning it but TW!!! there is self harm/cutting around 46% there's a brief mention of it before that but she actually does it around that point. I started off enjoying this even though I haven't read any of the other books in the series but I was just here for a fun holiday romance so I wasn't concerned about that at all. Once we switched over to the alternate timelines I lost interest quickly and starting back up first thing in the morning and immediately being blindsided by our heroine self harming   was not what I wanted to start my day.

This was weirdly cuter than I thought it would be.

I know it's only been 12 pages and i am extremely disappointed but I cannot read this.

I've had a copy of this requested with the library since I found out about it and I can't wait for it to come in. Thank you netgalley & publishers for a copy.

I am a sucker for anything involving Keanu Reeves so I had to read this. The art is amazing and the story itself; I am interested in. I just wish this volume was a little longer but I'll definitely be reading future ones too. This is very gory and bloody but honestly that's why I read it. You can tell from the cover that it's going to be dark and it delivers. If you want a comic with an immortal Keanu Reeves f**king crap up then this is for you.
