i wasn't sure what to expect going in, but glad i picked this up. The multiple names were confusing at first but LOVED the reference guide at the back. It was adorable, would recommend

well, i cried. but who's surprised

I wasn't a huge fan of the characters at the beginning but I can appreciate their growth.
Another solid romance from Tessa Bailey!

Wow. What a way to end 2021. Encapsulates the ‘grey-ness' of being human and surviving in a brutal industry. I guessed the twist but that didn't take away from the story.

I haven't watched or read Outlander so I couldn't appreciate all the behind the scenes/making of references. But it was a hilarious look at Scotland's history and the making of Men in Kilts.
Audiobook was narrated by the actors and was fantastic.

Wow. Everything about this family and their court cases just make me angry.

The Dust Bowl is definitely one of my least favorite parts of history because there is no way to escape that tragedy. People just waiting and hoping for the weather to change or waiting and hoping for a job.
This book was heartbreaking and I sobbed.

A talking sword should really be used to short-cut all mis-communication tropes. Where can I buy one? :P

Aahh this was a cute grumpy/sunshine romance. Also that mis-communication at the end is definitely something I'd do.

How many stories of women have we lost throughout history?

Wow. This should really be taught in school. It's hard now to look at America past and present and not see the caste.

It was well written but a bit predictable. I guessed the twist and that made me sad.

Loved the letter concept, really made the book.

What a cute one-shot

Alright that fucking swerve with the dad almost lost me, but glad I kept listening.
She had a really shitty 36 hours there, like holy fuck.

One day I'll like tropes other than ‘forced proximity' but today is not that day.

Not as spooky as I was expecting. Writing was excellent, of course, and the stories did pose some interesting questions

ARC review! I still struggle with her writing style but this book was much better than her 1st on all counts. The POV switches weren't as jarring and gave away less of the future plot than the first book. The beginning of the book dragged a bit, but it definitely picked up at the end.

Goddamnit, the fake dating trope is my shit. Please send help.

What more do you need out of a mafia romance?

I freaking love that the main characters were both engineers, but as a Mech E I am very biased. This was the first fiction I've read that tackles the micro-aggressions of being a woman in STEM and the author handles the topic really well. It had all my favorite tropes and I couldn't put it down.

It's like that 90s movie smart home, but way fucking creepier. The setting was chef's kiss gothic. The main character was great and I loved her connection to the women ‘ghosts'.

Fun romp in a cute town with Halloween vibes. What a great way to kick off the season.

Wow, that was beautifully written and heartbreaking.

Edit: still great the 2nd time around

Who gave this book the right to be this adorable.
I actually laughed out loud multiple times. And I devoured this book in one sitting. Sign me the fuck up for all of Kimberly's books.
