I absolutely loved this book. The plot had me hooked the whole way through, the world felt really magical and alive, and I fell in love with the characters (especially Elisabeth!)

This was a lovely read. Our heroine Cassandra felt soft but sharp, and endlessly kind and delighted by the world. And our hero, Tom Severin, was a breath of fresh air to read about! He’s a brilliant thinker and has the mind of an engineer, and is a very straightforward thinker in all things - including his emotions. It was lovely to see him open up and embrace new feelings as he falls in love.
