really good story, I really enjoyed it. reasonable twists and turns, very engaging story. can't wait for the next book which is due soon.

another great Longmire story.

loved it. couldn't put it down

very good, really enjoyed it. I can't tell if there's gonna be a follow-up. a little heavy on battle scenes, could have done with fewer.

I really enjoyed this story. Excellent plot, right amount of twists and a kick ass main character. Some story lines left open, which is disappointing, but I liked it.

engaging story, but lots of political discussions that I just didn't care about. parallel stories (present and past) and that didn't resolve in a way that made sense to me. just wasn't the best.

I don't enjoy his later books as much as I enjoyed the early ones. this one was not as interesting. he jumps around between ideas and never really wraps them up conclusively. I finally just gave up about two thirds of the way through.

hmmm. started really interesting and quirky like I expected. it really didn't resolve in a way that made sense to me. way too many unknowns. way too many unexplained happenings. I didn't enjoy it.

Meh, not much action. Not much ass kicking at all. Lots of intrigue and politics, but not much is really resolved here. Kind of an amateurish start for this new author in the series. Lame resolution to the Greta story line. One bog loose end never resolved. Just meh.

aaah, loved it. so sad I'm done reading it. great story with some fun twists.

An excellent story, starts out fun then turns quirky. I didn't expect it to go where it did, but I really enjoyed it. Hard to say more without spoilers.

Gave up on it. 100 pages in and I still didn't get it. Just. Too. Weird. And I've like many weird books. This just wasn't good.

yuck, romance novel

Great story, so sorry this series has turned into a romance series. I love the magic and fighting but could do less with the romantic squabbles

good. becoming more of a romance novel than magical. Big inconsistency in the middle of the book. They're at a safe house then suddenly they're in Kate's apartment - it just makes no sense. I'll probably keep reading the series because it's fun, but i really wish it wasn't becoming a romance series.

I'm on the fence on this one. on one hand, I'm a big fan of York ballin and enjoyed the storyline. on the other hand parts of this book are really tedious and confusing. I almost quit a couple of times because of how stupid it was, but I'm glad I stuck with it and finished the book

good story (of sorts), engaging. lightweight writing in a few places (story too simple). you never learn why York is York, which is surprising. not surprising how little York knew about the world, but very surprising he never seemed to care about figuring it out. big buildup to a very quick ending at the very end of the book. like I said earlier, so many questions unanswered

just an awesome story, I love scalzi's books. just a cool, funny sci Fi story. read it then read all his other books.

good story, a little cheesy in places but a fun read.

long and slow moving, but a good story, I was vern engaged with the characters

fun story, love the magic and tech world she lives in.

great story, very interesting and engaging. This author goes so very deep into everything she writes. I'm impressed.

This one was really good. When it started off, I found I didn't like much what was happening, but the author pulled it all together in a fun and interesting story. No repeated betrayals (like earlier books in the series) and even though the story doesn't wrap up in this book, there are no big cliff hangers. I really enjoyed it.

good story, but just a ridiculous amount of politics with very little else happening. the author is so proud of crafting this naming convention and back story along with the politics that go with it that very little really happens in the book.

Good, interesting story. The whole laser thing was kinda stupid. Interesting twist toward the end
