Like a burning building that you can't look away from

2.5 ⭐️ cutesy, kind of not good, but considering reading the next one? lol

The way I cried. Knocked a star off because it took me a long time to get into this book but truly beautiful story

This book is weird, genre bending, unique and mysterious. I read it voraciously.

4-4.5

Wow. Unique, heartbreaking, compulsively readable, anxiety-inducing, thought-provoking. Ending was satisfying in an f'd up way. Allowed me to examine motherhood, partnership, anxieties and fears, and our obligation towards our children.

This set of short stories was on point. I genuinely enjoyed each one as they examined modern racial and cultural tensions with humor.

A fun Nancy Drew-esque mystery with a little culture and inclusion thrown in.
