One of her more predictable books. Would love to read a “departure” book from Jodi. I know that she has it in her!

Every child in high school should read this book.

Many of Jodi's books have the same details, amnesia, the love story, same names even. While this book was very predictable, I didn't hate it. I love the time that Jodi spends researching her subject, it really comes through in her writing.

I enjoyed this book. It's one of the better ones from Oprah's book club. The characters were rich and wonderful. I cheered during the ending.

While this book was not my favorite, I am glad that I read it. If nothing else, at least it's off my To Read list.

This was a compilation of the same stories that he already wrote about in ‘Tis. I give it a “yawn” and a “meh”.

Although not as good as Angela's Ashes, I enjoyed this book. Interesting read.

WOW! This book started my interest in historical fiction.

I enjoyed this much more than Tuesday's with Morrie. I loved the different characters and how they all tied in together at the end. Wow.

Amy Tan is a wonderful writer. The characters that she creates are so full of life. They are very lovable (or not).

Total Chic Lit, not my favorite genre.

This book was not as good as the first three, I gave it a higher rating only because I liked the previous books so much.

Not a light and fun read. The characters are well developed and you only hope for the best for each of them.

The ending felt rushed and predictable. Yawn.

Sweet book, previewed it for my daughter. She will really enjoy it. Great for 8-9th graders.
