It's not that it is a bad book, it just didn't live up to the expectations I had about the beautiful Julie Andrews' Mary Poppins. I'm sorry to say that this one annoyed me; it took me too long to go through only 200 pages until I decided to give up on it, even though I was almost done.

However, I would encourage any Mary Poppins' real fan to give it a shot. After all, I didn't read the first one before reading this one.

I really liked the movie and that's why I was so excited to read the book. However, I think I would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't too long. I felt that there were parts of the story that could've been covered in much less pages and not dragged for too long.
