Read the first 100 pages and was so uninterested in the story that I couldn't continue. I liked Holly Black's “The Folk in the Air” series. I thought I would give this a try, but no. The characters are all unlikable and the story was weak. This is one of only two books this year that I dnf'ed.

An interesting story about college roommates who were fascinated by how super heroes get their powers that they became super villains. This book is full of hypocritical, morally corrupt characters that actually makes the story hard to put down. A fun read. I will read the rest of the series.

This book kept me interested from page 1. The story has a good balance of mystery and romance. There were a few questionable statements in the dialog between several characters, but it was overall an interesting book. I enjoyed reading it.

Interesting twist on the traditional Cinderella story where she is a cyborg mechanic. A fun YA sci-fi.

This book is the first Brandon Sanderson I read. I was intimidated at first (600 pages), but I quickly fell in love with the story. Yes, there are a lot of characters to keep track of, which got easier to do as the book went on. Sanderson goes into depth explaining the story's magic system and is talented at character building. I actually read this slowly to fully absorb this world. Overall, this book was a 5 star read for me. I will pick up the sequel whenever it is released, which won't be for awhile.

This was a fun read about a magical “game” that takes place for 5 days. The story was full of mystery, magic, and romance. Scarlett and Julian's “ relationship “ was intriguing and my favorite part of the book. It was a blast following them around Caraval, trying to figure out the “game”. Great book!

I had a great time reading this book. It was creepy and fun mystery/thriller with a supernatural twist.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved how it took place during the time of the Spanish Inquisition and the concept of a memory thief was fascinating. I am looking forward to the sequel of this book. Very entertaining.

At first, I didn't think I would like this book. Celaena is a vain, arrogant and a sometimes unlikable character. The book starts to get interesting about 200 pages in. A fun read that captures my interest enough to pick up the next book in the series to see what happens next.

I had high expectations for this book, but I was a bit let down. Story was boring in parts and Lydia (the protagonist) was a little whiny and selfish at times. I did get misty eyed at a few parts. I thought it would be sadder, but maybe I just have a heart made of ice.

This book was different than any other book I read before. I recommend if you want a sci-fi thriller that makes you appreciate what you have. Very entertaining and enjoyable to the end.

Absolutely loved this book! Such a fun read. I give it 5 heart-eyes!

Neil Gaiman and black cats! ‘Nuff said!

This was such a disturbing book. Not my cup of tea. Now I need to remove what I read from my memory.

This book was a lot of fun to read. I really enjoyed this Beauty and the Beast retelling. Out of all the characters, Gray was my favorite! This was such a great read that I ordered the sequel.

Such a terrific retelling of Cinderella from the perspective of her step-mother. This book was a lot more enjoyable than I thought it would be.

Enchanting story that I kept thinking about after I put it down. The writing was so atmospheric that I could almost feel the environment of the story as I was reading it. Even though the characters were flawed, it was easy to become invested in their story. I can't wait for the sequel because the story ends with no real conclusion. Loved it!

This series started off a little slow, but grew into something interesting. This book wasn't my favorite because it seemed short and the case was a little weak. Overall, this was a fun series to read.

Ok, it took the third book in this series to hook me in. This book was by far the best of the Charlotte Holmes series that I read. I usually don't like books that are written in 2 different perspectives (Holmes & Watson pretty much every other chapter), but for this story it just happens to work. A fun read from beginning to end.

This book was definitely better than the first book. Still not a favorite series of mine, but I still want to know what happens. Jamie Watson can be a little whiny, which is a slight turn off in an otherwise interesting story.

I enjoyed certain parts of this book, however some parts were quite slow. I didn't hate the story, but it did seem a little juvenile at times. I will continue the series to see what happens next.

If you want to read a creepy retelling of Snow White with gorgeous artwork, then this graphic novel is for you. Neil Gaian never ceases to amaze me after all these years.

I didn't realize it would be so short. It wasn't very scary, which coming from me is huge because I am a big chicken. Okay story and a very fast read.

This was, by far, my favorite of all the Disney Twisted Tales I have read. The story captured me from beginning to end. What if Cinderella never tried on the glass slipper? Well, it would have caused her to go on a grand adventure to reunite with her true love. Elizabeth Lim hit this out of the park. Loved it!

An interesting retelling of Snow White. Mina, the stepmother, was the more fascinating of the two main characters. Enjoyable read.
