Thus one didnt pack the power that the last two had for me. The added illustrations throughout the book were delightful and I hope she continues this trend. Good job as always!

For me the book had a slow start, but I was easily hooked by the atmosphere and writing style. Enjoyed it so much I practically absorbed the last half of the book. I also feel it's a 3.5🌟 read and will clearly read this author again.

I really enjoyed this read, I would def list it as a cozy mystery, written for pure enjoyment. It had a great story, I loved the characters even though most of the time I felt the detective was a bit inept... Ya know asking all the wrong questions. The resolution was cool but I had been able to guess at two major plot points not even 1/3 of the way through. That being said I really can't wait to read the next in series. I wont deny that I am praying they get a little more clever along the way.

Very enjoyable. Best 5 hour car ride ive had in quite a while! Happy Thanksgiving.🐲

Steamy. It was easy to fall for these quirky characters. Enjoyed it very much.

I'm not really into YA romance, I find the characters whiney, disillusioned, and every possible teen stereo-type possible. That being said this book was none of that, and I loved it so damn much! The characters are realistic, they're people I would love to have known in my high school days (or hell even now), they're people you care about. The story was well written and engaging, but most of all it was honest, and that was so refreshing that I just fell in love with the whole of it all.

Thank you James for recommending this one to me, I shouldn't have put it off as long as I did.

3.5 for this one. So much of this book went right over my head, but in the same instance there was so much information I found compelling. I will never not read a book by this author.

Not one of my favorite Crouch books but definitely worth a read. Desert Places reads more like a serial killers diary or a first hand account of trauma than fiction. It's a scary thing what humans are capable of becoming when their inner demons are released.

I can't say that I will run out and grab the next in this series, but I can say I'm not giving up on Andrew Z. Thomas.

I liked this book a lot. It's written from the point of view of a child who has experienced a great loss in her life. Very touching.

really enjoyable

I love this series so much! Sarah Andersen has a big message and quirky and poignant voice, I will always look forward to what she puts out next.

This book was super cute, with great art work and funny poems I didn't want to put it down.

I highly enjoyed this book! The story was enjoyable, and it was filled with compelling information. I could not absorb it fast enough.

Great read! Yrsa is such a poetess, and a fabulous story-teller. There wasn't a moment in this book that I didn't feel for her. She was honest and poignant, and didn't hide the darkness. I appreciate the chance to have read this one. Thanks Patty!

Ok I really enjoyed ‘listening' to this book. It was fascinating and informative, but seriously there is a reason tons of authors dont read their own stuff... This author was so passionate about his work that it was like he was yelling it at you. Seriously.

A fun fast paced thriller that stays with you long after it is over. I LOVED this book. I'm so sad I have to wait another year for the next Frost Easton book. Seriously, what is the world coming to!?

Such a cool retelling of the Mystery Inc crew! Loved it!

This book was adorable in the cutest most honest ways!

Cute and giggle worthy.

3.5 Because Yea I really didnt see that coming...

This was an almost perfect read.

I did not enjoy this book. I felt that Susanna was absent from the book for a good portion of it, that she was just an observer in her life and experiences. Most of what she shared I felt were akin to the American Pie - You know this one time at band camp... jokes. I felt that Susanna as a person was absent for most of the book, and that we truly did not learn anything about her, her condition, or her inner turmoils till the end of the book. I was highly disappointed, definitely not what I expected.

Such a talented woman!
