Very cute! And fun to see about the kids of the MC's from the previous universe by this author.
It's alllllll connected
Loved Marshall (and for big/plus size MMC rep)
I liked the opposite attract, both are into the other but aren't saying anything about it. There was good kind of light hearted angst.
I'm sorry who gave this book the right to be THAT GOOD.
could not put this down
I loved the found family, and the kinky spice was chefs kiss.
I loved Olivier. Spoiled rich boy? Yes certainly but he just was so KIND underneath it all. Once he had the reality check, he like just clicked so well with drew.
He just loved him so much and needed him.
So so so so good
Seriously love this series.
I wish Sutton grovelled a bit more, but overall really happy with this book. The best type of angst.
I like that not everything was resolved. Like there wasn't just a yay everything is fixed and we are happy. It was an ok we will get there and work together and be happy. It felt realistic and that was wonderful.
Cute low angst, friends to lovers, hockey/football MM romance
Zach wasn't what I expected, based on his past appearances. He was the donut loving goofball (gave off himbo) but he was very different in his own story. Not necessarily good or bad, just unexpected.
Carter was oblivious to Zach's pining and harboured love for him. They were childhood best friends and very close and affectionate, but Carter never saw him as more.
After zach had a bad injury, it kind of clicked that Carter needed zach as more.
Cash was sooo much fun! I saw this all over Amazon and insta, and was pleasantly surprised.
First time read by this author and not the last.
A true opposites attract, city girl x cowboy.
Mollie lost her somewhat estranged dad and inherited his cattle ranch. And Cash is the foreman. Neither really wanted her there but the forged proximity of it kind of sparked the flame.
They worked together with their grief, and while both so stubborn, found ways to compromise and work together.
Lots of found family, and sexy flirty cowboys.
This series just keeps getting better and better. I loved this so much.
We love an emotionally mature man, with a grumpy side, reading glasses, and DIMPLES.
So glad we finally know why teddy and Gus have hated each other for so long.
Gus is truly just the best dad and my heart melts when he and his kiddo are together. He takes care of everyone, and takes care of teddy when she needs it. Teddy takes care of him in ways he wouldn't let himself went and just ugh my heart.
Absolutely loved and devoured this. I was immediately hooked and needed more. Loving this series, it's so addicting with the angst and the feels.
Steph was not what I expected but I love him. He has so many walls of defence up, and doesn't let people see him. He has this outward persona of carefree and flakey and a screw up.
In comes Quinn. Immediately is suspicious. They bicker and banter. Always negative. But they somehow fell into a fake dating for a week scenario. (This part seemed random AF but I just went with it)
Steph experienced what a loving family should be like and feels guilty, tried to lash out, but Quinn had none of it. Just kept asking for “something real”.
I liked how Quinn fought for Steph. When Steph was in his head and was like no it's easier if we break up, Quinn is like nah. When Steph goes missing, he shows up and is like we are fighting this out. No TAB because he wouldn't let them give up.
I love how this series is fun, but emotional. The writing just brings you into the world and doesn't let you go.
This. Was. So. Good.
Probably a new favourite MM romance.
I don't know if I have eloquent words to add to this, but my stomach hurt in the best way reading this. It was angsty, it was beautiful.
It was single POV, and while yes I would have liked the other MC's POV in some parts it didn't feel like this story was lacking. It added to the mystery and suspense of the actions and secrets.
The way the author wrote, I truly felt the emotions happening. Like it was a punch to the gut.
Jude keeps everyone at arms length, even his life long friends. Until Blake comes along and slowly picks his way through his barriers. They become easy friends, and you kind of know he's hiding something from the beginning but they are so happy together you almost forget. And then the secret comes to light and it's just heart wrenching.
I'm obsessed with this.
“I hate him. I hate him. And look at that. Now he's made me into a liar, too.”
I feel like people either loved this or DNF, and I wish I DNF.
Was not feeling any chemistry, and while James was 18 she was wildly immature. Like sure child Hollywood star, but just generally I wanted to poke my eyes out.
I cringed every time she called her best friend “bitch” as a term of endearment.
I usually love an age gap but this was not it
I found both MC's to be boring and intolerable. Super annoying and I'm surprised I finished.
Drew was haunted by his father's mistake in the NFL, and couldn't escape the shadow.
Brexton pined for her childhood friend for years. Their fathers parted ways after years of friendship and the two never saw each other again until happenstance with their jobs.
Brex pined HARD for drew and was very fairy tale romance. Heart on her sleeve type.
Drew was quite immature with his feelings and like wanting to hide her because of their family's history.
It's labelled second chance but it isn't really. Like they were kids and they kissed once during spin the bottle and girly pop was like omg one true love.
Not enough grovelling from the MMC either considering all the dumb shit he did
Rush is LOYALLLLL. He did so much for the people who cared for him when he needed it most at the expense of his reputation. I could never. Honestly he's an English gem.
Lennox (he calls her Nox and it's so cute) is a sports agent, and the insta lust was so there.
I liked that Lennox was a woman in a male dominated industry, and was still tough and strong despite the awful rumours that go around about her. She was strong in public and allowed herself to feel still in private. I think she was really brave about it and stood her ground when needed.
A very cutesy grumpy sunshine soccer/football romance
Excellent smut. Bi-awakening, friends to lovers, OF/cam stuff, the public sex was always fun.
The jump from sexual relationship to boyfriends/immediate I love you was like very sudden. I liked the slow burn of it in the beginning but then all of a sudden it was like ope jump scare I love you.
BUT overall as a whole it was very good. Very smutty series!
A very good hockey romance! I've had this in my TBR for a while but it never jumped out at me enough. But I had a really good time with this!!!
It was more emotional at times than I expected but overall a good time.
Dekker was a strong woman and a career who didn't really change herself falling over a guy. She's a strong and confident woman and we love that.
I liked the emotional side of Hunter. He struggled with guilt a lot but he just needed someone to support him and say they're proud of him.
Definitely different from the previous but still super intriguing.
Shadow man is very intense, and all over Lyla. Very obsessive over her. He always has a plan waiting and he's 4 steps ahead, he is playing chess when everyone else is playing checkers.
Girly has been through the wringer 10 times over but is a fighter.
A kind of crappy cliff hanger and now impatiently waiting for the final book to tie off all loose ends !!!
