Very cute!!!
Both Richie and Seth (separately) have an “oh shit maybe I'm not straight” moment.
Each do their own research and end up chatting on a dating/hookup app.
They grow close online, share things, discuss the labels that feel right for who they are.
In person they are bumping each other in coffee shops,
Passing at the bar, etc. the entire time I wanted to shout that the guy they were talking to was right in front of you!!
It was sweet how patient and caring Richie was for seth, while he waited for him to understand himself and be the one to reach out to meet in person.
He gardens and stress bakes. Abel is so unexpected!!!
Sloane adds snark and sass to his quiet life and lights him up in a way he needed.
Always seen as the quiet grump, he turns out to be such a softie cinnamon roll (who could kill you if you mess with his family)
Seeing him be a bonus (and better) dad to Slone's twins was so precious.
A wonderful HEA for this marriage of convenience for the brewer and the brewer's wife.
So sweet and precious for an MM college hockey romance.
Brothers best friend, opposites, virgin, “nerd” vs “jock.
I love this authors universes and how we catch mini glimpses of other characters. Peep Damon King!
Both Foster and Zach were sooooo cute. It's possible Zach was on the spectrum, or at least presented with some tendencies. But Foster ran with it in stride and embraced his quirks. Zach got over his “I don't fit with a hockey player” mentality eventually and pushed himself out of his comfort zone.
Watching them grow was so sweet
This is what a redemption era looks like.
This doofus of a man, teases/bullied a girl because he wanted her attention in school.
Years later they fake date to save her reputation in town.
He's pined for her, so this is perfect he can get close.
Glenna was grouchy, introverted and kept to herself. Cash is the town prince. Always smiling and everyone loves him. Complete opposites.
It was angsty, it was funny. I mean he got her shot (flesh wound during hunting accident but still) and she forgave him. Excellent grovelling.
There isn't anything terribly exciting but this author just pulls you into the universe and there's no stopping.
Also there was pussy slapping so that was hot af
3.5 rounded down because of the abrupt ending.
There was drama drama drama, then everything is fine now here is a HEA.
Lots of angst and trust issues (rightfully so).
Little Mia was so sweet, and watching Kellum be her dad and interact with her was so cute. He was trying to hard and worked within her boundary.
This was fine! Nothing spectacular, but enjoyable enough to pass the time.
Closeted Italian firefighter x out and proud man
Mike was “stereotypical” Italian with the big family and the macho and very gendered roles. He was afraid to come out and be seen differently.
In comes Shane with his proud glory and feminine style. Always himself wherever he goes. Mike is envious of that but it causes rifts in his family because his father doesn't like “the gays” which is heart breaking to closeted Mike.
Flawless. Chefs kiss. 10 stars.
I was so emotional with this. This book had no right to be so heartbreaking, and heart warming.
Loved Isiah so so much. He was always happy and fun In the previous books but seeing him this way makes my heart soar.
He was always so playful with kennedy and he definitely was a huge flirt but once she gave him the time of day, the rest was history.
Loved the Vegas marriage and staying fake so she could keep her job. But he always loved her.
********
Loved!!! Grumpy sunshine, age gap, fake dating.
Everything was done perfectly. I loved how Preston was quiet and grumpy but soft and lovely for Emma. “Only for you” type. He's sooooo sweet. Loved how he wasn't afraid to be emotional.
Emma... appreciate a good quarter life crisis. Knowing you need to love yourself first.
This was cute spicy and fun.
Loooved alpha Wilder.
Disappointed in Avery at times. I understand where he was coming from but ultimately he knew wilder was his alpha but avoided it. He wanted to get loud and defend omega's ok but he blamed so much on Wilder.
Overall it was very political and had a lot of drama about courts and jail, legal issues, but I wanted more romance.
Also ended on a very random cliffhanger that had nothing to do with anything and I don't see any follow up to it?
3.5! My first mpreg omegaverse story and pleasantly surprised.
Unconventional love, found family, friendship, and more.
I wish we had gotten more grovelling! They had their tension, then Rohan apologized and they both said ILY. Like I understand fated mates but it felt out of left field.
Other than that - really enjoyed Gray and his nephews and seeing Rohan in their little family.
This has been in my TBR for so long based on the synopsis and reviews. I finally got my hands on it and I'm left baffled.
Perhaps it's my own fault for my expectation, because I had read another book by this author (perfect strangers) and was equally baffled. The twists and ending left me so weird and angry and annoyed. Just the same with this.
I expected the dark romance but got a dark erotic thriller. Which is fine I just wasn't expecting it.
The sex between Kayla and Aiden was hot, I'll give them that. But the twists and turns at the end kind of ruined the whole thing for me. I ended up being annoyed by it so 3 stars is as generous as I can be.
Seriously loving this series and author.
There is something about a secret pregnancy and the father who is a total cinnamon roll finding out and being the best dad ever. Total swoon!!!!
Barrett is such a sweetie. Raleigh had it tough, and being alone during the pregnancy and first years. Then Barrett was almost too good to be true. But he was true and he was so great.
I needed more in the third act. After they said I love yous. I would have loved to see how they were being engaged and their wedding, etc. and more of Barrett's mom too.
Had all the tropes, but just wasn't into it as much as I was the others in this series.
Mitch was never the most interesting in the other books and that remained true in this one. He's a big tall grumpy bear who owns a local bar and is loyal to his friends and loved ones but that's really it.
Lots of surface no depth
3.5 rounded down.
It was cute, and I love Iris. I think he was funny in the famous universe and seeing his story was sweet.
I didn't find their chemistry and relationship believable?
There was also no action considering this was a military book. Yes it's mostly a romance but ya know.
Overall enjoyed but just missed the mark
Loved!!! Super impressed this is the authors first book.
First of all; the spice is off the charts!!!
Really enjoyed this story. It was suspenseful and spicy, and full of surprises.
Only ick was Logan occasionally went a little weird and possessive. Like I'm all for possessive alpha but was cringey at times.
Aside from that, really really interesting and enjoyable.
Soooo good. I got so emotional when Nico was sad about Rafael getting upset about his eye condition. Yes I cried.
I looooved Rafa. And little Nico, and watching them overcome theirselves to be closer. Rafael has a heart of gold and you can't help but love him.
Although Ellie started as a music tutor turned nanny, she was Nico's best friend and their relationship was so sweet. Rafael was jealous at first but eventually got over himself.
Lots of good mental health rep. Lots of insecurities to overcome and was nice to see Ellie and Raf talk about it (eventually) like adults.
Rafael adopting all the stray animals and his reason why broke my heart but made me love him more.
