Super sweet best friends to lovers, fake dating romance.
Dusty and Leo were friends since college, and Leo needed a fake boyfriend to help his image with the upcoming campaign. He trusted dusty the most so it only made sense he would ask his friend for the favour.
Even though dusty is straight (or so we think) Leo had always had a bit of a crush on him. Once the fake dating started and the kisses became more frequent, things started heating up.
I really liked Dusty and feel like he compliments Leo well. The chemistry from his side felt really quick but overall a nice light hearted MM.
Soooo good. I got so emotional when Nico was sad about Rafael getting upset about his eye condition. Yes I cried.
I looooved Rafa. And little Nico, and watching them overcome theirselves to be closer. Rafael has a heart of gold and you can't help but love him.
Although Ellie started as a music tutor turned nanny, she was Nico's best friend and their relationship was so sweet. Rafael was jealous at first but eventually got over himself.
Lots of good mental health rep. Lots of insecurities to overcome and was nice to see Ellie and Raf talk about it (eventually) like adults.
Rafael adopting all the stray animals and his reason why broke my heart but made me love him more.
I wanted to love this SO BAD. The blurb felt this was written for me specifically. Sweet home Alabama is my all time fav movie, and I love Noah Kahan with all my heart.
Unfortunately this fell flat for me.
I'm understanding Riggs had a bad drinking problem and naturally was difficult for Stella. I'm having a hard time understanding how she up and left after the night in Vegas. Yes I understand they got married and he forgot which is tragic in itself. But I can't believe she didn't try to talk or figure anything out.
Also the stars. We get it y'all love the stars my god.
After all that, he lets 7 years go by without seeing her??? Without figuring out they're married???
And then when he comes back to town he tries to win her back. She's barely reluctant and is just tragic herself. Like I'm fully understanding of her mental health issues but it was a whole lot of codependency on both their parts.
I enjoyed the beginning but it went downhill from there.
Neither MC was likeable. Molly was cute and fearless, but was lacking something.
Dash was grouchy and quiet, and sure he was able to eventually speak his mind and tell Molly how he felt but it was all very immature. A lot of his actions were because of the one thing his dead dad had said.. which is fine but it jaded dash a lot.
The whole apartment situation that came with the manager job could have been handled better. And Molly deciding to move her mom and sister in there with her seemed weird??? Maybe I'm a hater but I did not vibe with this.
Read better cowboy romances, and likely won't continue this one.
Stacy whines WAY too much. She's crying over her mate losing his memories and not grabbing her butt like he used to.
Hello. The man was crushed by an earthquake be thankful he is alive. She said herself she never considered his feelings but like damn girl.
Had potential as a second book to this couple and the action/drama of the earthquake but I couldn't get over her whining.
Very cute and lighthearted MM hockey x physical therapist romance. Silly and cute.
Bowie and his English phrases were fun, and Jamie's serious perfectionist antics were a total opposite.
They complimented each other well and gave the other a balance. Bowie has no filter; and maybe a bit over the top. Jamie is maybe a little too serious but necessary because he's trying to be professional in the workplace.
AHHHH I LOVE THIS.
Devoured it right up. Ray got into an accident while riding a bull and became quadriplegic. Understandably grumpy and genuinely depressed about it.
Eventually after firing every other home care working in the county, in comes Brooke with her sunshine and chatty nature. Immediate no, but she's sweet and so Ray gives her a chance.
He doesn't need help, he is proud and able to do a lot of things on his own. So Brooke is there for company and to keep his family away.
Watching these two go from ignoring each other, to friendly companion, to more was so beautiful.
This was funny and kind hearted. The found family with Brooke and the Griffiths.
Surprisingly kinky ???? Which I loved.
So. Damn. Good.
I love the city girl country boy trope, add some grumpy
Sunshine, single dad, and it ends up being a chefs kiss.
First book by this author and I am obsessed. Love the writing style.
Christian's girls were so sweet, and not scared off by Cassandra's attitude. Sure she isn't a kid person but she treated them like adults and they needed it. Christian is a great dad, family man, and ranch manager (or whatever his title was) but it takes a strong woman to saddle up with a man like that. Cassandra was reluctant but once she got over her fears she took the job as his partner in stride.
Pleasantly surprised how much I ended up liking this.
It's very golden retriever black cat, except our black cat is VERY vengeful and a little mean.
Like I get it, as a big girl you have the voice inside your head and the voices from your past never really go away. They have Emmy a chip on her shoulder and came back to her home town to destroy it and those who wronged her in the past.
Liam is the construction guy in charge of her projects, and he wants to protect what she is out to demolish.
And unlikely pair but he shows up and shows her kindness where others show dismay.
This was so long but I was entertained the entire time. It was so much I almost wish I had more. It could have been split into two parts but it was so addicting I would have read them back to back anyway
Came for Tam, stayed for Joules.
Loved the chemistry and the science fiction-ness of the family curse.
It was angsty, light hearted, dramatic, and sweet, and spicy.
